Well it has been another successful thanksgiving.
I spent the first part of the day making a peanut butter cheese ball, with chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. You dip nilla wafers in it. OH MY YUM. As well as a ranch/green onion cheese ball. Also yum.
We went to Matt's parents, ate. Then to my mom and step dads, ate more.
Now we are on the couch feeling fat and happy, surrounded by cats.
I have many things to be grateful for. But, I don't have until next thanksgiving to write this blog.
AKA I'm tired.
Top 10 things I am most grateful for:
1. My husband. I would be so lost without this weird, funny, sweet, handsome, smart, patient man. He reminds me every day why I married him. Speaking of which, we just had our 1 year! Doesn't feel like there is anyway this is possible. I never dreamed being married would be this much fun.
2. My momma. Best friends for life! This beautiful woman has endless love for me, and has never made me feel anything but special.
3. My daddy. For being the first boy I ever loved. You are a wonderful example of hard work and unconditional love.
4. My step-dad. For being a dad he didn't have to be. Nothing makes me happier than to see someone treat my mom like the queen she is.
5. My job. I may joke about all the gross things that happen at work, but I know for a fact my job has saved me when I thought I was un-savable. Their is nothing better than having people TRULY love and appreciate you.
6. My friends. As I get older (no I'm not old just roll with it.) I seem to have less friends. Sounds sad maybe... But I would rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies. The number is not important, but those who are here to stay.
7. My Family and family in-law. Not only do I have awesome grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins... I was also so so so blessed to have in-laws that love me and accept me.
8. Material things. I have a small, but cozy house, a nice car, nice things... I have everything I need. Thanks to my Matty, I also have lots of my wants too!
9. My health. While I can't say I've had the best health, I definatly haven't had the worst. I am grateful that with my heart problems, I haven't had any serious issues. I plan on being around for a long long time.
10. My pets. Yes I know. I'm obsessed with animals. I love Roxi. She has been the most loyal friend I have had over the last 9 years. She never judges, just licks and loves. And my kitties too! Lady, Calvyn, and Winslow. They are so much fun. They are so sweet and cute, and keep me company when I'm doing... well anything.
I have had but another wonderful year.
Now to decorate the tree and cookies!
xoxo
