I am having a hard time comprehending that this year is over.
It seems like I just got married yesterday.
This year...
Matt got a new job.
I got a new job, then went back to my old one. (Long story)
I started school again.
I lost two of my best friends, because life changed them. And me too.
I got a new kitten. Who I am absolutely in love with.
My sweet Grace lost her battle with cancer.
My aunt came back into my life.
I went to Vegas for the first time.
I lost 15 pounds!
I celebrated one year of marriage to my handsome husband.
My parents got sealed in the temple.
I got a peanut tattoo.
I found out I'm going to be an aunt again! Twice!
Watched hundreds of TV shows on Netflix.
Read hundreds of books.
Enjoyed ever single day of 2012.
This year was hard. I had to make several decisions that would alter my life. I learned and embraced that I come first. I refuse to put myself in situations with people that treat me badly. With people who make decisions I don't agree with. And people who love the word, "me."
Years are too short to waste, and too long to not enjoy. This year will consist of my family. Not all are blood related, but if 2012 taught me anything, I know who my family is. I know who loves me, who cares, and who will never leave me feeling unhappy. I don't think I could have asked for a better life. I'm so looking forward to the adventures 2013 will bring me. Bring it!
